Description
Track down automotive short circuits without blowing fuses
The Fuse Saver® 2.0 automotive short circuit tester makes it easier to diagnose vehicle electrical problems safely and efficiently. Instead of repeatedly replacing blown fuses, the Fuse Saver uses manual-reset thermal circuit breakers to protect the circuit while you troubleshoot.
The kit includes five color-coded breakers rated at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 amps, allowing you to match the breaker to the vehicle’s original fuse rating. When a short circuit is detected, the breaker trips. Simply reset the breaker and continue testing without constantly replacing fuses.
The included 10-foot fuse cord gives technicians plenty of room to move around the vehicle while troubleshooting. The BuzzAlert audible short-circuit alert module provides an additional indication when a short is detected, helping you quickly identify and isolate electrical problems.
The Fuse Saver 2.0 also includes an 8-piece fuse box adapter kit designed to work with many common automotive fuse styles, including Micro2, MCase, ATC/ATO Standard and Mini, FLF, FLS, JCase, MAXI, Female MAXI, PAL, European ceramic, and glass-style fuses.
