Warranties and Returns
If you receive a defective product covered under warranty, David’s Heavy Duty Tool Sales will assist you by providing manufacturer contact information to facilitate a repair or replacement of the item as the manufacturer deems necessary.
Warranties vary by manufacturer. Contact us for details if you have specific questions.
If within 30 calendar days from receiving your item you are unsatisfied for any reason other than a valid warranty claim, we will assist you with a product exchange so you can find the right tool for the job.
If the product can not be exchanged and you choose to return the product, a restocking fee will be assessed. The restocking fee will depend on the condition of the goods at the time of the return. Items must be returned in the original manufacturer’s packaging.
Software items are eligible for returns within 30 days if they have not been licensed. We can not accept back licensed software.
All returns must be pre-authorized by calling us at 616-591-0095. An RGA number will be assigned to all valid return requests.
Some items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Downloaded items and intellectual property
- Personalized or engraved products
- Custom built or “spec’d” products
- Products that have been modified or tampered with including: cut, drilled, bent written on, etcetera
Unauthorized returns are not permitted. Once your item is received, it will be inspected to verify it is a valid return and we will initiate a refund minus any restocking fee. All refunds will be paid by check within five (5) business days of receiving the item.
You will be responsible for paying shipping cost to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
