Tests Truck-Side Brake Controller Output and All Towing-Lighting Functions Without a Trailer!
The Electric Brake Force Meter is a comprehensive tester that checks whether a vehicle’s trailering circuits are working correctly. IPA®’s patented technology effectively simulates trailer light and electric brake loads to test modern vehicles equipped with integrated trailer brake controllers. It quickly troubleshoots truck-side tow circuits, such as tail lights, turn signals, 12V+, reverse, and ground conditions, while verifying the trailer brake output gain. The 25-ft. cable enables one-person, in-cab testing. The #9107B replaces the #9107A with updates for the latest model year vehicles.
